Furlog shine at Transport Logistic China 2024: the success of the conference
Furlog recently participated in Transport Logistic China (TLC) 2024, the leading trade fair in Asia for logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain management. The event, held from June 25th to 27th at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, featured over 800 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors from more than 70 countries and regions.
The conference
Thanks to its strong expertise in railway services, Giuseppe Buganè, Managing Director of Furlog, was invited to speak at the plenary conference “Logistic Global Forum” organized within the fair. In his speech, titled “Unlimited, Green, Efficient: Furlog Intermodal Services”, Dr. Buganè highlighted the importance of rail connections between China and Europe and their steady increase over the years, emphasized by the war in Ukraine and the situation in the Suez Canal. Additionally, Covid has marked a turning point in supply chain management, with customers demanding ever higher service quality, leading to a preference for rail transport over maritime transport.
